update

Yesterday, I went from sausage sandwich with brown sauce for breakfast to wandering around a 600-year-old castle to watching birds of prey swoop around in the sky to watching the sex and the city movie to drinks in a random bar in Birmingham. Today, the first thing on the agenda was a visit to the original Cadbury chocolate factory, where we got a TON of free chocolate, then to Crewe, where we walked around a 500-year-old house and garden. Now, I'm watching Wimbledon and awaiting an amazing roast dinner made by my teammate Ali's mom. I'm off to London tomorrow morning to sign all the contracts and move into our house!

Will post pictures and details of the past two weeks as soon as I have a second to breathe...

across the pond

Arrived to London just fine, spent two hours in the MC Office and then left on the train. I'm currently in Bristol, just finished the LC Planning Conference for Bristol and Oxford. The members are AMAZING!! I feel so fortunate, although a bit lost as I still don't have an apartment and I'm traveling to Manchester tomorrow, so most of my stuff is still hanging out in suitcases in the MC Office in London... meh, so is the life of a nomad, I guess.

More updates next week when I get stuff sorted out. Things to do: get cell phone, get apartment, get bank account... it'll be a pretty full week.

preemptive conflict resolution?

Maybe it's just me, but I think that doing periodic 360 degree feedback sessions with the members of my family would help to avoid a lot of daily conflicts. Seriously.
