...is that when I ask for it from my parents and don't get it, I usually stop pursuing whatever it is I was doing. This time, there's no way I'm stopping. Their lack of support may push me to do even more, just to prove them wrong.

that's what i like to hear chica. now reread over that amazing post that you just wrote about how much impact WSC had on your life and put that on an international level. my mom thought that i was absolutely insane when i told her last spring that i wanted to go to a conference in colombia. taking off of school for a week and a half after spring break didn't merit the best response; the location didn't help either. you know what you need to do to make it happen though, and believe me...it will be more that worth it.
